Ellie Wood

Having graduated with a BA in musical theatre and an MA in songwriting & music production, I have gone onto building my own business as a singer/songwriter. I’ve been playlisted on BBC Radio, toured across the world and even played at Glastonbury festival

I’d been organically growing my fanbase online through social media but during the unprecedented (aren’t we all sick of that word?) times this year, I really focussed on my Instagram growth strategy, doubled my following and through targeted ads my music has received over 200k streams in 2020 alone. Through this, I really discovered a passion for Instagram marketing and found people were coming to me for advice. So Monday media was born! I’ve worked for and alongside many a small business in my time as a social media manager and consultant and would love to support you in growing your business.

Wedi graddio â BA mewn theatr gerddorol ac MA mewn cyfansoddi a chynhyrchu, mae Ellie Wood wedi sefydlu ei busnes ei hun fel cyfansoddwraig a pherfformwraig. Mae wedi cael ei chynnwys ar restrau chwarae radio BBC, wedi teithio ledled y byd ac hyd yn oed chwarae yng ngŵyl enwog Glastonbury.

Yn wreiddiol roedd yn adeiladu ei dilyniant ar-lein trwy ddefnydd y cyfryngau cymdeithasol, ond yn ystod y flwyddyn ddiwethaf mae hi wedi canolbwyntio ar ei strategaeth Instagram, gan ddyblu ei dilyniant a defnyddio hysbysebion i gyrraedd dros 200,000 o ffrydiadau yn 2020. Trwy hyn mae hi wedi ennill enw da fel rhywun â chyngor defnyddiol am farchnata Instagram, felly ganwyd Mondaay Media!

Gruff Owen

Libertino Records love all things vinyl, supportive open embracive communities, popeth Cymreig, their very inspiring Artists or anyone who puts themselves out there to make this world a more sonically beautiful place. After spending over two decades exploring music and honing an individual, independent free musical spirit, Gruff Owen realised that his natural environment was not the stage but rather helping young artists, lifting them up to the limelight, enabling them to achieve their individual musical visions. The "Eureka" moment was hearing the artists (all in the space of a few gloriously head-spinning weeks) who now call Libertino their creative home. These artists NEEDED to be heard by the rest of the world and Gruff NEEDED to work with them. He strongly believes that art should be inclusive and not exclusive creating a community from grass roots level.

Mae Recordiau Libertino yn caru popeth feinyl, cymunedau agored a chefnogol, popeth Cymreig, eu hartistiaid ysbrydoledig ac unrhyw un sy'n mynd ati i wneud y byd yn le prydferth yn sonig. Ar ôl treulio dros ddau ddegawd yn archwilio cerddoriaeth, sylweddolodd Gruff Owen mai nid y llwyfan oedd ei le fo, ond helpu artistiaid ifanc a'u helpu i gyflawni eu gweledigaethau cerddorol. Ei foment 'Eureka!' oedd clywed yr artistiaid sydd bellach yn galw Libertino yn gartref creadigol. Roedd RHAID i'r artistiaid yma gael eu clywed gan weddill y byd ac roedd yn RHAID i Gruff weithio gyda nhw. Mae'n credu'n gryf y dylsa'r celfyddydau fod yn gynhwysol a ddim yn egsliwsif, ac yn angerddol at greu cymuned sy'n agored i bawb.

Lloyd Best

Dead Method is the project of singer/songwriter Lloyd Best, whose music plunges deep into the depths of dark, experimental electronic pop as he explores sexuality, homophobia, love, loss and more with sobering honesty and poetic flair. Starting their solo career in 2018, they have since gone on to support 65DaysofStatic, Public Service Broadcasting and Georgia on their UK Tours, as well as becoming a staple must see act on the Cardiff music scene. In 2020, they released their debut album ‘Queer Genesis’, a beautiful exploration of LGBTQ+ culture and identity, called “a gnarly and warped alt-pop dance record, with an unsettling paintbrush and a singular voice” by AudioFemme. The album received support from BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio 6 to name a few. It marks the beginning of a b

old direction from Dead Method with new music, a show at FOCUS Festival 2021 and more to look forward to.

Dead Method yw prosiect y canwr / cyfansoddwr Lloyd Best, y mae ei gerddoriaeth yn plymio'n ddwfn i ddyfnderoedd pop electronig tywyll, arbrofol wrth iddo archwilio rhywioldeb, homoffobia, cariad, colled a mwy gyda gonestrwydd sobreiddiol a dawn farddonol. Gan ddechrau eu gyrfa unigol yn 2018, maent wedi mynd ymlaen i gefnogi 65DaysofStatic, Broadcasting Broadcasting a Georgia ar eu Teithiau yn y DU, yn ogystal â dod yn stwffwl mae'n rhaid iddynt weld act ar sîn gerddoriaeth Caerdydd. Yn 2020, fe wnaethant ryddhau eu halbwm cyntaf ‘Queer Genesis’, archwiliad hyfryd o ddiwylliant a hunaniaeth LGBTQ +, o’r enw “record ddawns alt-pop gnarly a warped, gyda brws paent ansefydlog a llais unigol” gan AudioFemme. Derbyniodd yr albwm gefnogaeth gan BBC Radio Wales a BBC Radio 6 i enwi ond ychydig. Mae'n nodi dechrau cyfeiriad beiddgar gan Dead Method gyda cherddoriaeth newydd, sioe yng Ngŵyl FOCUS 2021 a mwy i edrych ymlaen ato.

Violet Skies

You’ll be familiar with Violet Skies without realising it. Having spent the last few years writing for other artists around the world, as well as founding she writes, a global series of female-only writing camps, Violet Skies is setting up her stall alongside her artist peers; a Welsh singer-songwriter with ambition as big as her voice.

Growing up in a village in Wales, UK, she’s a self-confessed nerd, perfectionist and has known since the age of 4 that music was her future. Violet Skies, (adopting her grandmother’s name) writes “pop with teeth” and co-produces all her music; a combination of searingly emotional vocals, uncomfortably honest lyrics about her relationships, and infectious melodies.

Byddwch yn gyfarwydd â Violet Skies heb sylweddoli hynny. Ar ôl treulio’r blynyddoedd diwethaf yn cyfansoddi ar gyfer artistiaid eraill ledled y byd, yn ogystal â sefydlu sheWrites, cyfres fyd-eang o wersylloedd ysgrifennu i ferched yn unig, mae gan Violet Skies uchelgais mor fawr â'i llais.

Wedi ei magu mewn pentref yng Nghymru, mae Violet Skies yn cyfaddef ei hun ei bod yn nerc cerddoriaeth y DU; mae'n berffeithydd ac mae wedi gwybod ers 4 oed mai cerddoriaeth oedd ei dyfodol. Mae Violet Skies, (gan fabwysiadu enw ei mam-gu) yn ysgrifennu “pop gyda dannedd” ac yn cyd-gynhyrchu ei holl gerddoriaeth; cyfuniad o leisiau emosiynol, geiriau anghyfforddus o onest am ei pherthnasoedd, ac alawon bachog.

Luke Priestly

The Stereo Brain blog was launched in 2015 as an outlet for founder Luke Priestley to find a creative way to cope with his mental health. Shortly after he moved to Cardiff and met business partner Calum at university where they created began promoting live music through their university society.

The pair then decided to make it official and the company Stereo Brain Limited was founded in August 2017. Predomently focused on promoting the pair have since put close to 50 shows and 2 festivals (Pwer Festival) in Cardiff. The idea was to build a community of alternative rock bands & punters to generate an environment for new bands to grow and develop within the city. Previously booked artists include Dream State, Vukovi, Nervus, Conjurer, Soeur & so many more!

In 2019 the company decided to make the big jump to becoming a label. They signed local pop punk band These Five Years and Cardiff-based electro-punks Nightlives.

Their first release was a CD compilation featuring artists from the Pwer Festival 2019 line up with all profits donated to Heads Above The Waves - a local mental health charity. It featured tracks from Soeur, CHROMA, Nightlives, These Five Years, PEAKS, FORT & Sienna.

These Five Years released their 2nd EP 'This Could All Be So Easy' on Stereo Brain Records on 27th September 2019. The EP has hit nearly 100,000 streams on Spotify and the band embarked on a short UK tour following the release.

Nightlives released their single 'Ways Of Making You Talk' on Stereo Brain Records on 8th November. It was released digitally and on limited edition 7" vinyl which also featured their previous single 'Under The Radar'.

Sefydlwyd y blog 'The Stereo Brain' fel llwyfan i Luke Priestley allu delio gyda'i iechyd meddwl mewn modd greadigol. Yn fuan wedi iddo symud i Gaerdydd a chyfarfod ei bartner busnes Calum yn y brifysgol, dechreuodd hyrwyddo cerddoriaeth fyw trwy gymdeithas brifysgol.

Penderfynodd y ddau wneud pethau'n swyddogol yn Awst 2017, a sefydlwyd y cwmni Stereo Brain Limited. Gan ffocysu ar hyrwyddo, mae'r ddau wedi cynnal bron i 50 o sioeau a dwy ŵyl (Pwer Festival) yng Nghaerdydd. Y syniad oedd i adeiladu cymuned o fandiau roc ac amgen i greu sîn ble byddai bandiau newydd yn gallu tyfu a datblygu yn y ddinas. Mae artistiaid o'r gorffennol yn cynnwys Dream State, Vukovi, Nervus, Conjurer, Soeur a llawer mwy!

Yn 2019 penderfynodd y cwmni gymryd y naid, gan droi'n label. Arwyddon nhw'r band pop-pync lleol 'These Five Years' a'r electro-pyncs 'Nightlives'.

Y peth cyntaf iddynt ryddhau oedd casgliad o artistiaid o Pwer Festival 2019, gyda'r holl elw'n cael ei gyfrannu i Heads Above the Waves, elusen iechyd meddwl lleol.

She is relatively new to digital artwork so was super excited to be offered a part in this project! Caitlin created the wellbeing art inspired by a comic strip, she wanted it to portray a story or a journey through the piece. “When thinking of how I could approach this artwork under the topic of ‘wellbeing’ I instantly thought about the idea of yoga and meditation. I thought about how a mind could wander through a tranquil place created by an individual. I thought about how that special place could help us recenter and ground ourselves. I'm sure everyone has their own version of a happy place, I just knew that mine would be covered with plants, so that’s what I drew!” She is currently working on opening an Etsy shop to be able to sell her work online.

I hope to carry on making an abundance of original paintings, prints, and products for everyone to enjoy!
