In 2026, Forté Project continues to deliver its ground-breaking talent development model that supports and celebrates young music creators in Wales.

Forté Project plays an integral part in shaping a new future for the arts in Wales. We are continuing to expand our delivery, our reach, our vision and our impact across the country. We utilise a range of knowledge and skills from various industry professionals to support young people and help them identify routes to pursue careers in music.

​

The project enables artists to experience their true potential during their time on the programme, so they can present their best work and grow their profile to audiences in Wales and beyond.

The young people we have supported have flourished creatively, produced new material, and been exposed to a series of unique opportunities, both nationally & internationally. Previous artists have gone on to…

Who can apply?

You’re eligible if:

You’re aged 16–30 at the time of the application deadline

You reside in Wales (you’ll need to provide proof of address)

You’re a creator of original music

If you’re applying as a band, at least 50% of members must be aged 18–35 and all members must reside in Wales
