What is the Young Promoters Network?

​

Founded in Rhondda Cynon Taf in 2010, and now Wales-wide, the YPN has launched numerous careers in the music industry. It provides young people aged 18-25 across Wales with the opportunity to develop their skills as promoters, access new industry networks, put on live music events, and support their local music scene.

The YPN aims to empower young people by providing them with a new skill-set, enhancing their career aspirations within the live music sector, while boosting self-esteem and confidence. The YPN project became Wales-wide in 2022, and has supported many aspiring young promoters across Wales.

What the project provides: 

- Opportunity to develop new skills in live event management.
- Funding to cover the costs of putting on an event.
- Access to a new network of fellow promoters & other industry professionals.
- Professional training, personal development support, mentorship and 1-2-1 advice
