A three-day Music Industry Conference



Wales’ flagship music industry programme for young people has unveiled its most ambitious conference to date! Beacons Cymru is thrilled to announce the return of its groundbreaking music industry conference - SUMMIT; taking place between 21-23 February 2024. This 3-day, multi-venue event spans across the city of Cardiff and is entirely FREE.


Last year, over 500 people signed up to attend and engage in workshops, interactive panels, thought-provoking discussions, industry networking and live music. This year, across numerous iconic music venues in Cardiff including Cardiff Utilita Arena, The Gate, Clwb Ifor Bach, Paradise Gardens, JOMEC (Cardiff University) and Porter’s, SUMMIT will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to learn from and connect with key music industry experts from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences from across the UK.

The theme for this year’s SUMMIT is ‘Edrych Ymlaen’, which translates as ‘Looking Forward’. This theme is woven throughout the SUMMIT programme with an aim to to providing solutions, increasing optimism and allowing young professionals the chance to thrive in the music industry.



General ticket - If you're interested in signing up for general tickets to Summit you will have access to The Gate, Jomec, Sustainable Studio and Live Music Events*

*Please note that entry to gigs is on a first come first served basis until we reach capacity. Summit tickets do not guarantee entry. Please be aware that Porters is for individuals aged 18 and above, while Clwb Ifor Bach is open to those aged 16 and above.


Additional Sign Up - There are additional sign-up opportunities available for workshops, Atseinio Youth Debate, BBC Studios, and Live A&R with Jamila Scott*. Even if you have a general ticket for Summit you must sign up to these events separately.
